About Amanda
Amanda has over 20 years of international experience in senior relationship management, new market development, and event curation across both the public and private sectors.

She is on the management team (Strategic Partnerships Lead) at IP3, an American leader in private-sector-led advanced civil nuclear energy project design and development focused on small modular reactor (SMR) technologies and led by senior U.S. national security and energy experts; Co-Founder of the private events series Thought Leaders and Connectors in African Business; a Global Ambassador for Same Sky (Francine A. LeFrak Foundation); and a Board Member of The Lora Society, a by-invitation political society of successful international women that curates off-the-record events with high-profile speakers.

Past highlights include serving as Special Advisor to the Rwanda Development Board in Kigali, and on the Steering Committees of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, where she helped found the London Chapter, and Nexus Europe. Amanda began her career at Lebhar-Friedman, a leading U.S. B2B media company, working in executive capacities in Paris, London, and New York. She served on the Board from 2009 until its sale in 2018.

In her spare time, Amanda serves as President of her family’s ranch in New Mexico. In 2024, she spearheaded the sale of the family’s cattle business and is currently working to raise the ranch’s profile as a film location. She has also had the privilege of mentoring several exceptionally gifted Rwandan scholars, who probably teach her more than she could ever teach them.

Amanda earned a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School, including a Distinction in Leadership and Ethics in Organised Society; holds a B.A. in Political Science and French Literature from New York University; and completed a year of study in political science at Sciences Po Paris. She is an American citizen and British resident who speaks fluent French.

Her superpower is people: maintaining enduring relationships, connecting people and ideas, navigating different cultures with sensitivity and ease, and bridging worlds that do not naturally intersect.
