About Kerri
Kerri L. Bickford served in the Maine Legislature from 2006 to 2012, representing Topsham for three terms in the Maine House of Representatives. During her tenure, she spent two years as House Chair of the Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development Committee, where she championed consumer protection and small‑business policy. Her landmark gift‑card legislation earned her the Jim McGregor Government Service Award, presented by the Maine Merchants Association (now the Maine Retail Association) on October 25, 2012.

Kerri is the founder of White Birch Advocacy, a Maine‑based lobbying and consulting practice grounded in public service, policy expertise, and practical problem‑solving. She represents clients on children’s healthcare issues, electricity and power generation, and other complex policy matters across Maine’s regulatory landscape.

A graduate of the University of Maine at Orono (Class of 1985) with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Kerri brings a grounded, collaborative approach to every project.

Outside her work, she is an avid outdoorswoman who loves skiing, golfing, and spending time along the Maine coast. She is also a lifelong artist, creating pieces inspired by Maine’s landscapes, heritage, and natural beauty — a creative extension of the place she calls home.
