The World Health Organization (WHO) is not happy with us.
Last week, they took the unusual step of replying to our post on X because we shared a quote from the Trump White House.
All we said was that the “Pandemic Treaty” and IHR amendments must be stopped — and used this extract from the Trump Administration’s new Lab Leak webpage:
“The WHO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was an abject failure because it caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party and placed China’s political interests ahead of its international duties. Further, the WHO’s newest effort to solve the problems exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic — via a “Pandemic Treaty” — may harm the United States.”
The WHO called it “utterly false.”
Frankly, we trust Trump over Tedros.
Let’s be clear, the WHO failed during COVID. Now, through these two international legally binding agreements, it’s trying to lock in more power.
If passed, the Pandemic Treaty and IHR amendments would:
Cement the WHO’s powers over vaccine mandates, lockdowns, and border closures
Hand Dr Tedros sole authority to declare global health emergencies
Require countries to build surveillance systems and report regularly to Geneva
Bypass national legislatures and public scrutiny
Unless countries actively reject the IHR amendments by 19th July, they will automatically take effect.
